Meeting Room Hire
We are proud to be 'at the table' as members of the SRA (sustainable restaurant association). Sustainability is good for business and the planet, it's what more and more customers want and what more restaurants need to commit to.
The Café in the Park is a family run business with the privilege of running cafés in The Aquadrome, Rickmansworth and Higginson Park, Marlow. We started the business with the dream of serving up real food every day in the heart of your local park. Our original ethos was to buy local, cook fresh and select ingredients that had a low impact on our environment. This meant and still means, organic where possible, artisanally baked bread, milk from the local dairy, free range eggs in all of our baking, sustainable fish and the very best grass reared, free range meat that we could find. We also aimed to create an inclusive environment where all people would feel welcome and a team of staff that would be proud of the food and service that they delivered.
This was our dream five years ago. Today we run two busy cafés. We have an excellent staff team, we hold on to our staff, we receive excellent feedback and we continue to run the business with the same ethos and values that we started with in 2005.

Mighty oaks from little acorns grow...........
In April 2005, The Café in the Park first opened its doors from a small hut in the Rickmansworth Aquadrome. We earnt ourselves a great reputation. Following our fourth Summer season, the hut was knocked down in the Winter of 2008 and a new large indoor café built in its place. The café now has 70 covers inside with a further 70 outside. The café also has two private dining rooms and space to hire for parties and meetings.
In May 2008 The Café in the Park opened its second site in Higginson Park, Marlow. On the edge of the park, on the corner of the High Street and a stone's throw from the River Thames, we have an enviable position in the heart of this beautiful town.
